Emily has a background in freestyle, rock and roll, ballroom, latin, ballet, tap and modern dance. She has competed across the country and at National competitions in freestyle, rock and roll and ballroom making numerous National Finals and winning a National Title in freestyle dance.
Emily began teaching by assisting within previous dance school and taking an Assistant Dance teaching qualification with the I.D.T.A. She progressed to study sport and coaching science at university before taking on Little Kickers and coaching children through this. She also ran dance classes for children aged 2-5 years within nursery and children’s settings locally. Emily began instructing a dance fitness programme, Jazzercise, in 2012 but wanted to return to competitive dance. She started assisting with coaching at the Chiltern Cheetahs in September 2015 and established the Cheetettes Dance branch with Jess Goodall in January 2016. She is now running dance classes in various styles, as well as Little Kickers, Jazzercise and organising a family with three children!
